Yesterday, the ATS-V was seen testing on the streets around the Nurburgring, and today Cadillac has begun testing the car on the track and our spy photographers captured the action.
This is the first time we have seen the ATS-V without heavy body cladding, allowing us our best look yet at the upcoming car. The front end has been made more aggressive thanks to a much larger lower intake along with a chin spoiler. A Buick-like grille with vertical bars is also seen on the front of the car, though GM has been fitting its prototypes with fake grilles lately.

Wider fenders, a lower ride height and a hood scoop are also seen on this prototype, all hinting at its go-fast nature. Also fitted are wide low-profile tires and larger brake calipers to make sure that the ATS-V can handle all the power from its twin-turbo engine.
That engine is expected to be the 3.6L twin-turbo V6 found in the XTS and CTS Vsport models, where it makes 410 hp and 420 hp respectively.
